Our department are developing the original Edgewise Coil with square line.
SAN-EI developed the original rolling method for winding,it makes that able to Mass-produce the epochal heat-resistans coil.(Patented in 1998 in JAPAN &USA)
We’ve wrestle quickly the application to a hybrid car lengthening rapidly in late years, and we succeed in development of square coil which we used with square line.(Applicated the Patent in 2005)It enable that the application for the mortor winding(Applicated the Patent in 2002). There will be these for big positioning on our business development as application to electricity connection and car connection in our bissiness development.
In this Division, we perform coil-related, besides, research and development about a resin note type and an insulation film, also we interchange with research of a public institute and each major company a lot, it ontributes to development of products for the next generation greatly.
>> Edgewise Coil Product Information| ◆ How it began Received requests from textile manufacturers to develop coils that are heat resistant and resilient to vibrations.Witnessed the increasing demand for round shaped/square shaped coils necessary for hybrid vehicles. |
◆ Brief details of our operations To develop components that are essential to becoming a product. Patented our rolling method and square type winding method long before our competitors. We continue to develop various applied products.
◆ Features of Edgewise coils
For our rolling method, we incorporate ceramic insulation for excellent heat resistance. They are widely used in drawing machines of textile machineries. Our square shaped coils can be found in hybrid and electric vehicles which have been gaining popularity in the recent years.
◆ n-house Technology We have developed many types of winding methods and products that cannot be accomplished by our competitors, such as our patented square coil winding, round wire rolling method, and ceramic insulated heat resistant motor coils.
